April 14, 2018  1:30 pm -

The 2018 National Junior Prospects Combine is off and running into it's second day of games. After Thursday night registrationn and a heavily loaded speaker presentation at the Four Points Sheraton overlooking the Niagara Falls river, the players are getting a treat.  Friday morning came early with an 80 minute practice-clic session, on ice testing and off ice testing into the afternoon. Friday night, the players were anxious to lace their skates up with their new teammates and let the games begin. 

The following are the scores from Friday evening and Saturday morning:

Team Red 6  vs, Team Black 3  (empty Net goal ) 

Team Gold 5  vs. Team Blue 4 

Team Black 3 vs  Team Blue 2 

Team Gold 4 vs Team Red 1   

 

Tonights Games  feature the following:

5:30pm - Team Gold vs. Team Black 

7:30pm - Team Blue vs Team Red

Relatives and hockey fans can view the coverage on UTube at no charge thanks to the staff of the NJP.

Here are your NSN viewing instructions

2. Go to the gray “watch games " menu at the top middle of the homepage.

3. CLick on this button to view the games playing. 

4. The NSN channels correspond with the rink numbers #1 - #2    

     Example – Rink 1 (R1) is “MAIN”  NSN Channel 1.

     Example -  Rink 2 (R2) is  “AUX”   NSN Channel 2.

5. There is no charge for watching the games via NSN.

March 25th, 2018 - For most teams, the 2017-2018 Season is in the history books. Their players are looking ahead to the Elite Prospects Combine, spring teams, and 2018-2019 tryouts. 

NOT THE: u16 Armstrong Arrows & Hershey Jr. Bears, u18 Fort Wayne Force & Mid-State Mustangs. These teams are gearing up to head northwest in a few week to the land of the "frozen tundra' and "cheese country".

After a successful state and district tournament, the four teams above and their Coaches, Players, and Parents will get to experience the competition on the National Level:

NATIONAL JUNIOR PROSPECTS WELCOMES NHL ALUMNI PETER WORRELL TO THE 2018 ELITE PROSPECTS COMBINE

March 23rd, 2018 - 

The National Junior Prospects Staff is excited to announce Peter Worrell as a Key Note Speaker and Coach for the 2018 National Junior Prospects Elite Prospects Combine.  Peter will be speaking to the parents and players Thursday evening April 12th, at the Four Points Sheraton Ballroom on Buffalo Road in Niagara Falls, NY. 

Peter had a long and successful career with the Florida Panthers in the National Hockey League. After being drafted by the Panthers in the 1995 NHL Entry Draft seventh round, Peter played three years in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League before breaking through with Florida in the 1997 season. After that, he never looked back. 

After his NHL playing career, Peter also is enjoying a successful coaching career at the Prep school level. He established a top notch program at North Broward Prep assisting many players to move to the Junior levels and beyond. 

The National Junior Prospects players and parents are very fortunate to have a speaker of this caliber avaiable to answer many questions regarding their son's Academic-Athletic futures. 

Peter will be coaching one of the teams at the combine as well.

March 8th, 2018 -

The National Junior Prospects Staff and Teams would like to welcome our NCAA Division III Collegiate guest speaker, Dan Loughran to the 2018 Elite Prospects Cpmbine.  As a former teammate, current Assistant Coach, and active member of the Ice Knight Alumni Association, Dan brings a wealth of knowledge to the Coaches, Parents, and Players how to be successful in eduction, hockey and life. His intensity and passion to be a contributer and successful in life is contagious. 

Families of players particpating in the 2018 National Junior Prospects Elite Prospects Program will come and listen to Dan Loughran speak and answer questions Thursday evening, April 12th at 9:00pm in the Sheraton Four Points Ballroom.  The Presentation will start with a list of speakers representing a number of facets of the hockey industry will start at 8:00pm.

At the moment, Geneseo is coming off a SUNYAC Championship win last weekend and will begin their run for an NCAA Division III title quest March 10th at Hobart College.  Good luck to Dan and the Ice Knights. 

We look forward to educating and assisting the NJP Elite Player Prospects in becoming college hockey players. We encourage pareents and players to ask a lot of questions at the presentation.

NATIONAL JUNIOR PROSPECTS ANNOUNCES 2018 ELITE PROSPECTS COMBINE IN NIAGARA FALLS, NEW YORK

NIAGARA UNIVERSITY - DWYER ARENA

 

February 23rd, 2018 - The National Junior Prospects wil hold the 2018 Elite Prospects Combine once again at Dwyer Arena - on the campus of Niagara University - Home of the NCAA Division 1 Niagara University Purple Eagles.  The combine will take begin with registration in the evening on Thursday, April 12th - and conclude with morning games on Sunday, April 15th, 2018. 

Player nominations and invitations will begin going out as soon as today. 

The event will include guest speakers from Junior and collegiate ranks including NCAA and ACHA; On and Off Ice player testing evaluation; four full games; jerseys and socks; all games webcast live by the National Sports Network; 

More detailed information will be available as the event draws near.
