THE GREAT CITY OF FORT WAYNE WELCOMES BACK NATIONAL JUNIOR PROSPECTS 2018

BEAUTIFUL FORT WAYNE INDIANA SKYLINE

 

January 14th, 2018 -

 

January destination hockey in Fort Wayne Indiana.  A look back: The ECHL Komets and their rich deep history goes back many decades;  Bob Black, NJP Founder and his long hockey history used to as a player particpate in the A.H.A.U.S ( now USA Hockey ) Districts and Regionals back in the early to mid 70's;  Frank Black, A.H.A.U.S. Director, and dignitary who the Frank Black Cup is named after, was overseeing tournaments and playoffs in the late 70's in Fort Wayne, Indiana. 

All this great history and heritage makes perfect sense that the National Junior Prospect Finale come back to Fort Wayne for the second consecutive year. 22 teams, approximately 400 players will compete in five different tournaments all at one time in two and one half days.  If you are passionate about hockey, you have to come to the SPORTONE/Parkview Ice House anytime between 7:00am to 9:00pm Friday, January 19th, and/or Saturday January 20th, 2018 

Championship Day Sunday, January 21st from 8:00am to 1:00pm when 10 teams will be "Taking Home the Hardware!"
